Charlie Hoover is the President of Moore & Johnson Insurance.

With over 40 years in the insurance business, Charlie has proven himself to be a strong advocate and trusted advisor to his clients.

Charlie is a graduate of Wingate College and UNC Charlotte, earning a BA in business administration. He also is a graduate of the Appalachian State Insurance Executive Program.  He also holds 5 professional insurance designations: CPCU, CIC, ARM, AAI, and CRIS.

Charlie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the First Tee of the Triangle, and is an active volunteer at the Wake County SPCA. He is also involved in his church, St John’s Episcopal, and regularly attends Bible Study Fellowship.

Charlie is married to his wife Drew, and has two grown sons, Kevin and Daniel. He recently became a proud grandfather of Baxley Charles, his four month old grandson.
